BPCIF: The British Parliamentary Committee for Iran Freedom strongly condemns the acts of violence on Monday 27 August by Iraqi government forces against Iranian dissidents in Camp Ashraf who were preparing for their transfer to Camp Liberty in Baghdad.

BPCIF: Members of Parliament from all Parties Wednesday evening rejected a so-called UN "roadmap" for Camp Ashraf residents which aims to transfer the "Protected Persons" to a camp that a Working Group of the UN Human Rights Council last week described as a "detention centre".

BPCIF: On 19th July Mr Martin Kobler, the Special Representative of the Secretary General for Iraq and head of UNAMI, told the UN Security Council: “the [Iraqi] government’s patience is wearing thin. I therefore would like to ... urge Camp Ashraf residents to cooperate with Iraqi authorities and to relocate from Camp Ashraf to Camp Hurriyeh (Liberty)”.

BPCIF: Members of Parliament from all Parties condemn the increasingly belligerent efforts of the Government of Iraq (GoI) to force members of the Iranian opposition PMOI to relocate from Camp Ashraf to Camp Liberty without upholding their minimum human rights.
