BPCIF: Two Archbishops and 16 Bishops call on political leaders to raise their voice and condemn the displacement of the camp residents inside Iraq without international protection and urge the Iraqi government to revoke this deadline and allow the UN Refugee Agency to start its task in the camp. If we fail to do so, the blood of innocents will be on our collective hands. |

BPCIF: More than  150 cross party MPs and Peers have condemned the Iraqi government's intention to forcefully close Camp Ashraf (home to Iranian dissidents for over 25 years) at the end of this year. They warn about the massacre of 3,400 residents including 1000 women in the camp. So far Iraqi forces, under the command of Iraqi PM Nouri al-Maliki, have killed 47 of these defenceless and unarmed refugees and injured hundreds of others in two deadly assaults at the behest of the Iranian regime. |

BPCIF: Cross-Party MPs and Peers as well as prominent jurists at a Parliamentary meeting in London on Tuesday called on the UK, EU and US to urgently propose a draft text to the UN Security Council approve the stationing of blue-helmet UN security forces at Camp Ashraf to prevent another major massacre when the US forces leave Iraq at the end of the year. The Parliamentarians and jurists demanded that Iraq cancel its end-of-year deadline to forcibly close Camp Ashraf, home to 3,400 members of Iran's main opposition group PMOI (MEK). |

BPCIF: Attacks by Iraqi forces on Camp Ashraf, home to pro-democracy Iranians, have seen 47 residents killed and 1,071 injured leaving the US guilty of ignoring its responsibility to protect residents and prevent these war crimes. |
