It is very important that we send the message loud and clear to policy makers in this country and beyond. We need to be very clear about what is happening in Ashraf, what is happening to your fellow Iranians, our friends there and the way in which their lives are being tormented by those microphones outside the Camp.
My colleague Lord Dholakia warned months ago, after those attacks last July as to what would happen and we see no let up, no let up in the harassment of those 3,400 people and that is why today's demonstration, in the polite, restrained but nevertheless powerful way you are putting forward the case - and we continue to put forward the case in the Parliamentary Committee - is so important.
I think the message will go out. I hope the message has been seen by people all over the world, that we will not forget Camp Ashraf. As long as Iranian citizens, your compatriots, our friends are in Camp Ashraf we will remember them and we will continue to demand that the most basic human rights, medical supplies, food supplies, access to relatives remains critical.
The news that solicitors and lawyers representing families of Camp Ashraf relatives are being arrested, the news that human rights lawyers throughout Iran are being arrested, not just the unfortunate case of Madam Ashtiani, but many many others throughout the world is a case we will not forget and we will continue to champion until we have won. Thank you very much.
