A delegation from the British Parliamentary Committee for Iran Freedom took part in a rally in Paris on June 30 in defence of the main Iranian opposition coalition National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and its President-elect Mrs. Maryam Rajavi.

The delegation denounced the decision by the Council of the European Union to maintain the name of the main Iranian opposition group – the People’s Mojahedin Organisation of Iran (PMOI) – in its list of terrorist organisations in defiance of the 12 December 2006 ruling of the European Court of First Instance annulling the proscription.

The rally, at an indoor Parisian venue, drew an estimated 50,000 Iranians from all across Europe.

The following are photos of Rt. Hon. Lord Slynn of Hadley (Crossbench), Mr. Brian Binley MP (Conservative), and Mr. Andrew Mackinlay MP (Labour) who were part of the delegation.
