The British Parliamentary Committee for Iran Freedom (BPCIF) warns of a serious threat to the life of political prisoner Ali Moezzi following reports that the Iranian regime’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security has taken him to an unknown location outside the prison.
The British Parliamentary Committee for Iran Freedom (BPCIF) strongly condemns the unjust detention of prisoner of conscience Maryam Akbari Monfared in Evin Prison and warns about the danger to her health following Iranian authorities denying her access to necessary medical treatment outside the prison.
At a conference in the House of Commons on Thursday, 17 November, chaired by Rt Revd John Pritchard, former Bishop of Oxford, cross party MPs, Lords and British religious leaders expressed their serious concerns over the alarming rate of executions in Iran, including public hangings and execution of juvenile offender and women.
They join the Anglo-Iranian community in urging the British government to act for the prosecution of the perpetrators of 1988 massacre
